Getting Started

Welcome to Mediajinn, the AI-powered social media automation platform that helps you create, manage, and optimize your social media presence. This documentation will guide you through the initial setup process.

Creating Your Account

Visit the Registration Page: Navigate to https://app.mediajinn.ai/register.
Enter Your Information: Fill in your details:
- Full name
- Business email
- Secure password (minimum 8 characters with at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character)
- Business name
Verify Your Email: Check your email inbox for a verification link from Mediajinn. Click the link to verify your account.
Note: If you don't see the email in your inbox, check your spam or promotions folder.
Complete Your Profile: After verification, you'll be prompted to complete your profile by:
- Selecting your industry
- Describing your business
- Setting your time zone

Connecting Your Facebook Page

To begin automating your social media content and ad creation, you'll need to connect your Facebook Page to Mediajinn.

Navigate to Connections: From your Mediajinn dashboard, click on the "Connections" tab in the left sidebar.
Select Facebook: Click on the Facebook icon in the social media platforms section.
Required Permissions: Mediajinn will request the following permissions to properly function:
- Pages_manage_posts - to create and schedule content
- Pages_read_engagement - to track performance
- Ads_management - to create and optimize ads
- Pages_messaging - to manage comments and messages
Authenticate with Facebook: You'll be redirected to Facebook to log in and authorize Mediajinn.
Important: Make sure you're logged into the Facebook account that has admin access to the Page you want to connect.
Select Your Pages: After authentication, you'll see a list of Pages you manage. Select the Pages you want to connect to Mediajinn.
Grant Permissions: Review and grant the required permissions for each Page.
Verify Connection: Once connected, you'll be redirected back to Mediajinn, and you should see your Facebook Page(s) listed as connected accounts.

Connection Troubleshooting

If you experience any issues connecting your Facebook Page:

Ensure you have admin permissions on the Facebook Page
Check that you've enabled two-factor authentication on your Facebook account for enhanced security
Try logging out of Facebook completely and logging back in
Clear your browser cookies and cache
Contact our support team at support@mediajinn.ai if issues persist
