Everything you need to know about managing your Mediajinn subscription, billing, and payments.

Plans Overview

Mediajinn offers several subscription plans to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes:

Managing Your Subscription

Viewing Your Current Plan

To view your current subscription plan:

  1. Log in to your Mediajinn account
  2. Go to Settings → Billing
  3. Under Current Plan, you'll see your subscription details including:
    • Plan name
    • Billing period (monthly/yearly)
    • Next billing date
    • Payment method

Upgrading Your Plan

To upgrade to a higher-tier plan:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Upgrade Plan
  3. Select your desired plan
  4. Choose between monthly or annual billing
  5. Review the prorated charges (if applicable)
  6. Click Confirm Upgrade

Plan upgrades take effect immediately. You'll be charged the prorated difference between your current plan and the new plan for the remainder of your billing cycle.

Downgrading Your Plan

To downgrade to a lower-tier plan:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select a lower-tier plan
  4. Review the impact on your features and accounts
  5. Click Confirm Downgrade

Important: Plan downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You'll continue to have access to your current plan's features until then. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

Changing Billing Frequency

To switch between monthly and annual billing:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Change Billing Frequency
  3. Select your preferred option
  4. Review the pricing changes
  5. Click Confirm Change

Annual plans come with a 20% discount compared to monthly billing. Changes to billing frequency take effect at your next renewal date.

Payment Methods

Adding a Payment Method

Mediajinn accepts credit/debit cards and PayPal. To add a new payment method:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Click Add Payment Method
  3. Select the type (Card or PayPal)
  4. Enter your payment details
  5. Click Save Payment Method

Setting a Default Payment Method

If you have multiple payment methods, you can set one as default:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Find the payment method you want to use
  3. Click Set as Default

Removing a Payment Method

To remove a payment method:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Payment Methods
  2. Find the payment method you want to remove
  3. Click the Remove icon (trash)
  4. Confirm the action

Note: You cannot remove your default payment method if you have an active subscription. You must first add a new payment method and set it as default.

Invoices and Receipts

Viewing Invoice History

To view your past invoices:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Invoices
  2. You'll see a list of all invoices with:
    • Invoice number
    • Date
    • Amount
    • Status (Paid, Pending, Failed)
  3. Click on any invoice to view the details

Downloading Invoices

To download an invoice as PDF:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Invoices
  2. Find the invoice you want to download
  3. Click the Download icon

Requesting Custom Invoices

Business and Enterprise customers can request custom invoices with specific information:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Invoices
  2. Click Request Custom Invoice
  3. Enter the required details (company name, address, tax ID, etc.)
  4. Specify which invoice needs customization
  5. Click Submit Request

Custom invoice requests are typically processed within 1-2 business days.

Usage and Limits

Monitoring Usage

To track your plan usage:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Usage
  2. View your current usage across various features:
    • Social accounts (used/allowed)
    • Team members (used/allowed)
    • AI content generation credits (used/allowed)
    • Scheduled posts (used/allowed)
    • Analytics reports (used/allowed)

Usage Alerts

Set up notifications when you approach your plan limits:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Usage Alerts
  2. Enable alerts for specific features
  3. Set the threshold percentage (e.g., 80%)
  4. Choose notification methods (email, in-app)
  5. Click Save Preferences

Purchasing Add-ons

If you need additional resources without upgrading your entire plan:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Add-ons
  2. Browse available add-ons:
    • Additional social accounts
    • Extra team members
    • AI content generation credits
    • Advanced analytics
  3. Select the add-on and quantity
  4. Review the cost
  5. Click Purchase Add-on

Add-ons are billed immediately and prorated to your current billing cycle.

Cancellation and Refunds

Cancelling Your Subscription

To cancel your Mediajinn subscription:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Select your reason for cancelling
  4. Review information about what happens to your data
  5. Click Confirm Cancellation

Important: When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period. After that, your account will be downgraded to the free plan with limited features. Your data will be retained for 30 days, after which it may be permanently deleted.

Refund Policy

Mediajinn's refund policy includes:

  • 14-day refund period for new subscriptions
  • Prorated refunds for annual plans cancelled within 30 days
  • No refunds for monthly plans after the 14-day period
  • No refunds for add-ons once they've been added to your account

To request a refund:

  1. Contact our billing support at billing@mediajinn.ai
  2. Include your account details and reason for the refund request
  3. Our team will review your request within 2 business days

Enterprise Billing

Custom Contracts

Enterprise customers benefit from custom agreements with:

  • Flexible billing terms (monthly, quarterly, annual)
  • Custom payment methods (bank transfer, check)
  • Volume discounts
  • Multi-year agreements
  • Custom SLAs and support arrangements

Purchase Orders

Enterprise customers can use purchase orders:

  1. Contact your account representative to set up PO-based billing
  2. Submit your PO documentation to enterprise@mediajinn.ai
  3. Once approved, your invoice will reference your PO number
  4. Payment terms are typically Net 30

Tax Information

Tax-Exempt Status

If your organization is tax-exempt:

  1. Go to Settings → Billing → Tax Information
  2. Click Add Tax-Exempt Certificate
  3. Upload your tax-exempt documentation
  4. Provide additional required information
  5. Click Submit for Review

Tax-exempt status verification typically takes 3-5 business days.

International Customers

For customers outside the United States:

  • EU customers: VAT will be charged unless a valid VAT ID is provided
  • UK customers: VAT will be applied
  • Add your VAT ID or GST number in Settings → Billing → Tax Information
  • All prices are in USD unless otherwise specified
