Setting Up Your Publishing Schedule

Step 1: Configure Posting Times

Mediajinn can determine optimal posting times based on your audience activity or you can set your own schedule:

  1. Navigate to Schedule → Posting Times
  2. Choose between:
    • AI-Optimized: Let Mediajinn analyze your audience data to find optimal times
    • Custom Schedule: Set specific days and times for posts
  3. For AI-Optimized scheduling, select your posting frequency (e.g., 1-2 times per day)
  4. For Custom Schedule, set specific time slots for each day of the week
  5. Click Save Schedule to apply your settings

Pro Tip: Start with AI-Optimized scheduling and adjust based on performance metrics after a few weeks.

Step 2: Create Content Categories

Categories help organize your content by theme and can have their own scheduling rules:

  1. Go to Schedule → Categories
  2. Click Add Category
  3. Enter a name and description (e.g., "Promotional", "Educational", "Behind-the-Scenes")
  4. Set category-specific rules:
    • Posting frequency (e.g., 20% promotional, 50% educational)
    • Optimal days/times (optional override of general schedule)
    • Platform distribution (which categories appear on which networks)
  5. Click Save Category

Step 3: Schedule Your First Post

You can schedule posts individually or in batches:

  1. From your content library or after creating new content, click Schedule
  2. Select the date and time or choose Add to Queue for automatic scheduling
  3. If using the queue, select the content category
  4. Choose the social platforms for this post
  5. Add any platform-specific customizations
  6. Click Schedule Post

Managing Your Content Calendar

Calendar View

The calendar provides a visual overview of all scheduled content:

  • Navigate to Schedule → Calendar
  • View posts by day, week, or month
  • Filter by platform, category, or status
  • Drag and drop posts to reschedule
  • Click on any post to edit, duplicate, or delete

Queue Management

The queue automatically schedules posts based on your settings:

  • Navigate to Schedule → Queue
  • View posts waiting in your queue
  • Reorder posts by dragging and dropping
  • Add new posts directly to the queue
  • Set queue limits for each category

Bulk Scheduling

Schedule multiple posts at once:

  1. Go to Content → Batch Schedule
  2. Select multiple posts from your content library
  3. Choose Schedule or Add to Queue
  4. Set schedule parameters:
    • Start date and frequency
    • Time between posts
    • Platforms to publish to
  5. Click Batch Schedule

Advanced Scheduling Features

Content Recycling

Automatically reuse evergreen content:

  1. Select a post and click Make Evergreen
  2. Set recycling parameters:
    • Frequency (e.g., once every 30 days)
    • Maximum reuses (or unlimited)
    • End date (optional)
  3. Choose Reuse as-is or Refresh with AI (creates variations)
  4. Click Save Recycling Settings

Scheduling Variations
